Missed call text back

Missed a call? They get a text from your number — once, politely.

When a caller hangs up before anyone helps, they get one text from your business number — sorry we missed you, a way to reply, and your booking link if you take bookings. It starts once your number is approved for business texting (US carriers require it; we file it for you).

One text, never a stream

Once per caller per day. Never to a robocaller, a number you’ve blocked, or one of your own numbers — and a caller who replies STOP never hears from you again.

From your number

The text comes from your business number, so a reply comes back to that number — not to a shared short code.

Fewer missed calls to begin with

The AI receptionist answers when you can’t, so most callers get a conversation, not a text — the text is for the ones who hang up first.

Yours to switch off

The text-back is a setting. Turn it off and missed callers are simply listed on your Calls page.

How a call goes

  1. 1A caller rings and nobody picks up — or they hang up on the AI early.
  2. 2If they haven’t been texted today, one text goes out from your number.
  3. 3It says sorry, how to reply, and your booking link if you take bookings.
  4. 4A reply comes back to your number, and the call is on your Calls page either way.

Questions

Why does it need approval to text?
US carriers require business numbers to register before texting customers (10DLC). We file it for you; until it’s approved, missed callers are listed on your Calls page instead of texted.
Will it text my existing customers?
Only ones who have agreed to texts — the same consent rule every text from the app follows — and never anyone who has replied STOP.
