Partner is the labor of love of Caleb Salter— a general contractor who spent ten years running real jobs: framing crews, punch lists, change orders, and the 2 a.m. spreadsheet sessions that come with all of it.

A decade in the field teaches you something the software industry keeps missing: the hard part of contracting isn’t the work — it’s everything around the work. The estimate that takes three evenings to price. The invoice nobody remembers to chase. The crew that shows up to the wrong site because the schedule lived on a whiteboard. The tools that existed were either built for office towers, priced for enterprises, or scattered across six different apps that didn’t talk to each other.

So Caleb built the tool he’d always wished someone would hand him: one place where a job goes from first phone call to final payment, where the paperwork drafts itself, and where the people doing the real work spend their evenings at home instead of behind a laptop.

The mission is simple: make the blue-collar world work more efficiently — and give contractors their time back.
