AI receptionist for electricians

Every electrical call answered — even when you’re in a panel.

It asks whether it’s the whole house or one circuit and whether anything smells hot or sparks — and treats burning smells and downed lines as urgent, safety first.

What it asks a new caller

  • What is going on — a power outage, a breaker that keeps tripping, a dead outlet, or new work
  • Whether it is the whole house or one part
  • Whether there is any burning smell, sparking, buzzing or scorch marks
  • Roughly how old the house or the electrical panel is

One at a time, skipping anything they’ve already said — plus their name, number and the address.

What it treats as an emergency

  • A burning smell, smoke, sparks or scorch marks
  • An outlet, switch or panel that is hot or buzzing
  • A power line down
  • Lights flickering with part of the house out

Safety advice first, then it files the call as urgent and alerts you — never promising a time or a price.

Questions

Can I change what it asks?
Yes. These are the electrical questions it starts with; in Settings you can rewrite the questions and the list of emergencies in your own words, one per line.
What does it do in an emergency?
Safety first — If there is smoke, fire or sparking, tell them to get out and call 911. For a burning smell with no fire, they can shut off the main breaker if it is safe to reach. If a power line is down, they should stay well away from it and call the utility and 911. Then it takes their name, the address and the best number, files the call as urgent and alerts you right away. It never promises an arrival time or a price.
Will it quote prices?
No. It takes the details and a person follows up. It never invents prices, schedules or commitments on your behalf.
