After-hours answering service

After hours, every call answered — and you’re only woken for the real emergencies.

Set your hours once. During them your phone rings as usual; after them the AI answers, takes the job, and treats your trade’s emergencies as urgent.

Your hours, your rules

Choose what happens during hours and after: ring your phone, let the AI answer, ring you first and let the AI pick up if you don’t, or voicemail.

Emergencies flagged, not just logged

Each trade has its own list — a burst pipe, no heat in a freeze, an active roof leak. Safety advice first, then an urgent alert to you.

Everything else waits for morning

Routine calls are taken in full and filed as leads with what they asked for, so the first call back is about the job.

Hours in your own time zone

Hours are kept in the business’s own time zone — “we close at 5” means 5 where you are, not where the server is.

How a call goes

  1. 1Set your open hours and what should happen in and out of them.
  2. 2After hours, the AI answers as your company and asks what’s wrong.
  3. 3An emergency gets safety advice, is filed as urgent, and you’re alerted.
  4. 4Everything else is filed as a lead for the morning, with the transcript.

Questions

Can it ring me first and only answer if I don’t pick up?
Yes — “Ring me, then Riley” rings your phone first and the AI answers if you don’t. You can choose that for open hours, closed hours, or both.
What counts as an emergency?
Each trade starts with its own list (shown on the trade pages below), and you can rewrite it in Settings in your own words, one per line.
What does it cost at night?
The same: $99/month with 300 minutes, $0.35 a minute after that. No after-hours surcharge.
