This policy describes how Partner, a product owned and operated by Partner Business Software LLC (“we”), collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use the Service.
1. Data we collect
Account data — name, email, phone, and role for you and teammates you invite. Business data — the records you create: clients, projects, estimates, invoices, time entries, photos, documents, and messages. Usage data — log and device information, and email open/click events on messages sent through the Service. Location— GPS coordinates only when you use location features (clock-in, live tracking), with your device’s permission.
2. How we use it
To provide and improve the Service, process payments, send transactional and (with consent) marketing email, provide AI-assisted features, prevent abuse, and comply with law. We do not sell personal data.
3. Service providers (subprocessors)
We use vetted providers to run the Service: Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Anthropic (AI processing), and Cloudflare (bot protection, when enabled). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
4. Email tracking and unsubscribing
Marketing emails sent through the Service include open/click tracking and an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing email; transactional messages (receipts, sign-in codes) may still be sent.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain data while your account is active. You can request an export or deletion of your business’s data from Settings; we complete deletion requests within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or financial compliance.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, isolated per business, and protected by role-based access controls. No system is perfectly secure; notify us immediately of any suspected breach of your account.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise them.
